Terms and Conditions

The website at meelu.tech and everything published on it are operated by Shubham Randive trading as Meelu (“Meelu”, “we”, “us”). In these terms “you” means anyone who visits the site or uses anything on it.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and “you” then means that organisation.

Today this site offers four things:

• Free tools. A set of marketing and analytics calculators — SEO audits, readability and similarity checks, AI content detection, cohort and RFM analysis, lifetime value, churn, attribution, marketing mix modelling and others.
• Open source projects. MCP servers and related code published on GitHub, described on this site.
• Writing. A blog and an RSS feed.
• A waitlist. A way to be told when the Meelu desktop app is released.

The interactive demo on this site shows the desktop app running against an invented business. It is a demonstration, not a working product, and nothing in it connects to a real account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this site. The tools are built for business use and are not directed at children.

You may only use the site where doing so is lawful where you are. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

The tools are free, need no account, and are provided for general information. They are not professional advice — not legal, financial, tax, accounting or marketing advice — and no relationship of that kind is created by using them. Decisions you make from their output are yours.

Most of the tools run entirely inside your browser: the file or the text you give them is processed on your own machine and is never sent to us. Where a tool has to reach a page on your behalf — the SEO audit, the broken link checker, and the URL modes of the readability, similarity and AI detection tools — the address you submit is sent to our server, the page is fetched, the result is returned to you, and the content is not kept afterwards.

Tools that fetch pages are rate limited so that one person cannot use up the capacity everyone shares. You must not attempt to get around those limits, whether by automation, by rotating addresses, or by any other means.

The tools use statistical methods and machine learning models. Their output is an estimate. It can be wrong, and on small or unusual datasets it can be confidently wrong. The AI content detector in particular produces false positives on formal writing and on English written by non-native speakers, and must not be used as the sole basis for any decision affecting a person — for example an academic penalty, a hiring decision or the termination of a contract. We accept no responsibility for any decision taken on the basis of a tool’s output.

You agree not to:

• run the crawling tools against a website you neither own nor have permission to scan, or in a way that would breach that site’s terms of use, its robots rules or any law;
• upload or submit personal data you have no lawful basis to process, or anyone else’s confidential information;
• use the site to send spam, malware or anything unlawful, defamatory, infringing or harmful;
• place an unreasonable load on the site, interfere with it, probe it for weaknesses, or try to reach any part of it you have not been given access to;
• scrape the site in bulk, or resell, rebrand or otherwise pass off the tools or their output as your own service;
• reverse engineer or decompile any part of the site, except where a licence granted to you, or the law, expressly allows it.

If you find a security problem, please report it to hello@meelu.tech rather than exploiting it or publishing it. Reports made in good faith are welcome.

You keep ownership of everything you submit — the files, text and addresses you give the tools. You give us no rights in it beyond what is needed to run the tool you asked for and return the result to you.

You are responsible for what you submit. In particular, if the data contains personal information, you confirm you are entitled to process it and to have it processed in the way the tool works.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read. This site sets no advertising cookies and sells nothing about you to anyone.

If you join the waitlist we store the email address you give us, and the date you gave it, for the single purpose of telling you about Meelu — its release, and occasional notes about what is being built. We do not sell or rent the list.

You can ask to be removed at any time by writing to hello@meelu.tech, and every email we send carries a way to unsubscribe. Joining the waitlist does not entitle you to access, to a place in a queue, or to any particular price.

The open source projects described on this site are distributed from their own repositories under their own licences. Those licences govern your use of that code, and where they conflict with these terms, the licence wins for that code.

Open source software is provided by its authors as-is. Nothing on this site is a warranty or a support commitment for it.

The desktop app is not yet released. Everything this site says about it describes what is being built and may change. When the app is released it will come with its own licence and terms, and those will govern it — not this page.

Nothing here is an offer to sell, a commitment to release on any date, or a promise that any particular feature will exist.

The site’s design, text, images and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Except where an open source licence says otherwise, you may not copy, republish or create derivative works from them without our permission.

You may read the site, and quote or link to it with attribution, as ordinary fair dealing allows. You may use the output the tools give you on your own data however you like, including commercially.

The name “Meelu”, the Meelu logo and the Meelu wordmark are our marks. You may use them unmodified to refer to Meelu — in an article, a comparison or a link. You may not use them as your own, alter their colours or proportions, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with you when we are not.

This site links to other websites and runs on services provided by others, including our hosting provider and Google Analytics. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for them, for their content, or for their handling of your data. Their own terms apply when you use them.

When a tool fetches a page you have asked it to fetch, that request reaches a third-party server. What that server does is outside our control.

The site is offered free of charge and comes with no uptime commitment. We may change, suspend, rate limit or withdraw any part of it — including any individual tool — at any time and without notice.

The site and the tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute or common law, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any result produced by a tool is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose you have in mind.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, nor for any indirect or consequential loss, however caused, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything it produces.

Our total liability to you for all claims connected with the site is limited to INR 10,000 (ten thousand Indian rupees), or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. The site is free, so in most cases that amount is nothing.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of these terms, from your misuse of the site, or from your having scanned, crawled or submitted material you were not entitled to.

We may block your access to the site, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or are putting the site or its other users at risk. You may stop using the site at any time.

The sections on intellectual property, no warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law survive the end of this agreement.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing here removes any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so it is worth glancing at this page occasionally.
