Create a page

Start a blank piece and write it yourself, or let the agent research your site and draft one for you.

There are two ways to start a piece. You can start a blank one and write it yourself, or you can ask the agent to write one.

Start a blank piece

Open the Content desk

Click Content in the sidebar.

Click New piece

Meelu makes an empty piece called "Untitled piece" and opens it in the editor.

Write

Fill in the title, the headline (H1) and the meta description at the top. Then write the body below them. Meelu saves as you type. See The editor.

Slug and target keyword

The editor has no boxes for the slug and the target keyword. The agent sets them when it writes or edits a piece. In the desktop app, open Agent in the editor and ask it to set them, for example "Set the slug to /blog/late-invoices".

Have the agent write a piece

This works in the Meelu desktop app.

Open the writer

On the Content screen, click the sparkle icon (Write with the agent). A task opens.

Say what the page is about

Tell the agent what the page should cover and who will read it. One or two sentences is enough. You can also click one of the suggested prompts.

Read the proposal

Before it writes, the agent proposes the target keyword, the reader, the angle and the internal links, with the reason for each. It asks you only what it cannot work out on its own.

Read the draft

The agent shows the full draft in the chat: the title, H1, meta description, slug and target keyword, then the body. Tell it what to change. It keeps going until you are happy.

Say when to save

The agent saves the piece only when you clearly tell it to. It then lands on the Content desk as a draft and opens in the editor. If the save came back with page warnings, the agent names them.

Suggested prompts

When the writer opens, it shows these prompts. Click one to send it, or type your own.

PromptWhat it asks for
Write a page explaining one of our servicesA page about one thing you sell.
Write an article answering a question customers ask us oftenAn article that answers a common customer question.
Write the page one of the SEO suggestions asks forA page that the SEO desk suggested you add. See SEO desk.

The agent writes from your own data, not from guesses. Before it drafts, it loads what Meelu knows about your site from the Site desk.

  • Target keyword. The agent looks at the search queries in your Search Console data. It prefers a query that people really search for and that no page on your site already ranks for. If one of your pages already ranks for that query, the agent says so and suggests you improve that page instead. Two pages on one query compete with each other.
  • Internal links. An internal link is a link from one page on your site to another page on your site. The agent picks three to six pages from your crawled pages that a reader would want to follow next: the product or service page the piece supports, the main page of that topic, and closely related articles. Every link points to a page that really exists on your site.
  • Voice and slug. The agent reads a few of your most-linked pages to match their tone and length. It picks a slug that fits the folders your site already uses, such as /blog/ or /guides/.
  • Facts. Every claim must come from your site or from you. If the agent cannot support a claim, it cuts it or asks you.

Your notes and your business profile also shape the piece. The agent reads them before it writes. See Notes.

Crawl and connect first

The agent needs a crawl of your site and your Search Console data to do this well. If either is missing, it tells you what the piece lacks because of it. See Site desk.

Meelu suggests, you decide

The agent proposes the keyword, the links and the text. Nothing is saved until you agree, and nothing is ever published. You can change every part of the piece in the editor afterwards. See Suggestions and Working with the agent.
